Egypt star Mohamed Salah has been voted PFA Player of the Month for March, the fourth time he has won the accolade this season.

The 25-year-old winger gained 80 per cent of the vote in an online poll after he scored a tremendous six goals in four English Premier League matches for his club Liverpool.

"The Liverpool No.11 saw off competition from Tottenham Hotspur trio Dele Alli, Heung-Min Son and Jan Vertonghen, as well as Manchester City’s Leroy Sane and David Silva, to scoop the prize," the club announced through their website Monday.

Salah sustained a minor injury Wednesday during his side's 3-0 home win over powerful Manchester City in the UEFA Champions League quarterfinals.

He was sidelined for Saturday's Premier League game against Everton but he is likely to play City in the second-leg on Tuesday.

The young Pharaoh is delivering the best-ever season for an Egyptian player since joining Liverpool from Roma last summer, scoring 29 league goals so far, as well as seven goals with Liverpool in nine appearances in the UEFA Champions League this season.
