Ahmed Elmohamady set up Bent to score the second goal
Ahmed Elmohamady created his first goal for Sunderland to help them a 3-0 victory over Blackburn Rovers in the Premier League on Saturday.
The Egyptian wing-back whipped in an inch-perfect cross for Darren Bent to head home and double Sunderland's advantage after 19 minutes.
He was substituted with four minutes remaining after suffering from dizziness, Sunderland said on their official website after the match.
"Ahmed has got double vision," Sunderland boss Steve Bruce said after his side atoned for two successive losses to Manchester United and Blackpool.
Striker Danny Welbeck opened the scoring after 11 minutes with a deflected shot from inside the area.
Ghana striker Asamoah Gyan wrapped up the victory one minute from time after sending a low curling shot into the bottom corner.
Sunderland lie sixth in the 20-team table with 30 points from 21 matches.
