Zamalek scored two late goals that helped the White Knights claim a 3-1 win over El-Inttag El-Harby in the Egypt Cup quarters to reach the competition's semi-finals.

Inttag winger Ahmed Shedid opened the scoring in the fourth minute of the game, while Zamalek defender Mahmoud Alaa leveled the score nine minutes after the break.

Substitute Mohamed Antar scored Zamalek's second goal with one minute remaining and Tarek Hamed sent a powerful shot to make it 3-1 in injury time.

Zamalek will face Ismaily in the semi-finals, set to be played on the seventh of this month.

Inttag claimed an early lead thanks to Ahmed Shedid's curling shot from a free kick that tricked Zamalek keeper Mahmoud Abdel-Rehim, who found the ball in his net.

Zamalek squandered many goal-scoring opportunities during the first-half time, which saw Congolese striker Kabongo Kassongo wasting three clear chances.

The military side had the chance to double the score as Ahmed Shedid penetrated Zamalek's defence from the left flank to go clear, but his effort went wide.

Nine minutes after the break, substitute striker Bassem Morsi gained a penalty converted by Zamalek's defender Mahmoud Alaa.

The White Knights intensified their attacks in order to score another goal, but they waited until the 90th minute, which saw Antar benefit from a miss pass from an Inttag defender that cleared him to score from close-range.

International midfielder Tarek Hamed made it 3-1 in injury time after sending a powerful shot from outside the area to confirm Zamalek's win.
