Egypt winger Mohamed Salah has been included in a list of 10 players for FIFA's 'The Best Men Player Award in 2018 after his eye-catching performance with Liverpool gaining all individual titles of the English Premier League.

Salah, 26, who played the best football season ever played by an Egyptian, scored 44 goals in all competitions as Liverpool reached the Champions League final and finished fourth in the Premier League.

He finished as the elite Premier League's top scorer with 32 goals - a record tally in a 38-game top flight campaign.

He hardly looked fully fit in Russia, having just recovered from a shoulder injury he picked up in the UEFA Champions League final in late May, he still scored two goals in two appearances against Russia and Saudi Arabia.

The Best FIFA Football Awards recognise the finest in each category for their respective achievements during the period from 3 July 2017 to 15 July 2018 inclusive for the men’s category, and from 7 August 2017 to 24 May 2018 inclusive for the women’s.
