Meanwhile, The Suez-Canal Ismaily slumped to a 2-0 defeat by Kuwait, same result of the first-leg, as the game went to the penalties shoot-out, before El-Hadary came to the rescue.
Egyptian side Ittihad of Alexandria have already qualified for the competition's round of 16 at the expense of defending champions Esperance de Tunis.
Another Egyptian representative in the championship, Zamalek, will have a tough mission on Friday when they face Kuwaiti side Al-Qadisiya in Kuwait in the same qualifying round, as they were held to goalless draw at home by the Kuwaiti side in the first-leg in August.
