EFA postpones Zamalek v El-Entag El-Harby league game due to African mission

The Egyptian Football Association (EFA) has postponed the Egyptian Premier League game between Zamalek and El-Entag El-Harby to be played on 15 May instead of 1st of the same month due to the Whites' participation in the CAF Confederation Cup.

Zamalek were scheduled to face El-Entag El-Harby in the 31st matchday of the Egyptian Premier League on Wednesday.

"Zamalek vs. El-Entag El-Harby game have been postponed to be played on 15 May due to the Whites participation in the semifinals of the CAF Confederation Cup," read a statement by the EFA.

"We will announce the schedule of the coming weeks and the postponed games after deciding Zamalek's situation is the African championship," the statement added.

Zamalek will be hoping to continue their journey towards a CAF Confederation Cup win when they host Tunisian side Etoile du Sahel in the first leg of the tournament's semifinals at Petro Sport Stadium on Sunday.

The Whites are 3rd in the Egyptian Premier League teams' table with 60 points after playing 27 games, three points behind leaders Pyramids FC who played two games more.
