Egypt's U-19 handball team reaches quarterfinals of World Championship

Egypt will face in the quarterfinals either Iceland or Japan, which play against each other later today

Egypt's U-19 handball team beat Slovenia 30-23 on Wednesday in the round of 16 of the 2019 Men's Youth Handball World Championship.
The young Pharaohs dominated the game since the start, finishing 16-8 at half-time.
Egypt will face in the quarterfinals the winner from the clash between Iceland and Japan, which will be played later today.
The Egyptians secured their seat in the round of 16 after leading their group with eight points from four victories against Sweden, Chinese Taipei, Canada, and Hungary respectively. The team lost against France.
