World football governing body FIFA announced on Thursday that Liverpool's Egyptian winger Mohamed Salah will take part in FIFA's Museum exhibition in Zurich until 5 January 2020.
On its official Twitter account, the FIFA Museum praised the Egyptian football star an described him as "a better human being than he is a football player. And he’s one of the best football players in the world."
"Mo Salah's spot in the TIME 100 list is a crucial part of our imarabe exhibition, as he pulls 'Foot et Monde Arabe' into today's limelight," they added.
FIFA's Arabic Twitter account revealed that the FIFA's Museum exhibition focuses on the brilliant history and football culture in the Arab world.
Salah started his playing career at the Cairo based club Arab Contractors in the Egyptian Premier League in 2010, but departed shortly after to join Swiss side Basel. With his superb performance he attracted the attention of Premier League side Chelsea, joining the Blues in 2014, but he made only 19 appearances with limited playing time under then-boss Jose Mourinho.
Salah was loaned by the Blues to Italy Serie A side Fiorentina before joining Roma in a permanent transfer.
Salah reached top form in 2017 when he joined Liverpool, signing a long-term contract with the Reds for an initial $50 million, a club record.
The Egyptian star has helped win several trophies during his European career, including the Swiss Super League in the 2012/13 and 2013/14 seasons, as well as claiming the UEFA Champions League title with Liverpool in the 2018/19 season, and the UEFA Super Cup in 2019.
Salah has helped Liverpool boost its competitiveness since joining the team in 2017, as they reached the UEFA Champions League final two times and snatched the title last season.
