Zamalek goalkeeper Abdel-Wahed El-Sayed has signed a three-year contract extension with the Whites that keep him at the club until 2015.
The Cairo giants' management board member Abdullah George held talks with the Zamalek and Egypt team goalie on Saturday and convinced him to put pen to paper to intercept any other teams that showed interest in signing the player.
The 34-year-old goalkeeper's contract expires this June.
On the other hand, Zamalek's management have fined their Benin striker Razak Omotoyossi $10,000 for his absence from trainings without permission from the team's tactician.
Omotoyossi has been handed a four-match ban by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) after his involvement in an angry exchange with the referee during a Champions League game.
