Mido claims Zamalek coach will aske to offload the club's president from his spot
After the 3-2 loss to Ghana’s Chelsea in the opener game of the CAF Champions League Group Stage on Saturday, former Whites' striker Ahmed Hossam "Mido" said on his tweeter account that coach Hassan Shehata will ask to release the club's president Mamdouh Abbas as a result for the defeat.
"After ofloading Mido and Shikabala and losing the game against Ghana's Chelsea, hassan Shehata will ask to offload Mamdouh Abbas (Zamalek's president)" Mido said on his personal account after the game.
"Mothers of Zamalek's players will sit in before the presidential castle slams Shehata's chants against their sons while Morsi promise to solve the situation" Mido said on tweeter.
The Egyptian striker, Mido recently returned to England after signing a one-year contract with championship side Barnsley.
The 29-year-old striker who returned to his boyhood club Zamalek in January 2011 after spending 11 years in Europe was released from Zamalek's squad for the next season on request of coach Hassan Shehata after he failed to establish himself with the club in the last season to injury or problems concerning being overweight.
