Egypt's Mohamed Salah has made his first Swiss league appearance after playing with his new club Basel in Sunday's 3-1 win over Thun.
The 21-year-old forward, who joined Basel from Egyptian side Arab Contractors this summer, played the full 90 minutes but was unable to find the net.
Salah, who produced a string of fine displays with Egypt at the London Games, made his maiden competitive appearance with Basel in Wednesday's 1-1 Champions League draw with Norwegian side Molde, which lifted the club to the next round with a 2-1 aggregate win.
Basel lie second in the Swiss league table with 9 points, four points behind leaders FC Sion.
