Egypt attacker Mohamed Salah netted his first goal with Swiss side Basel in his third appearance with the team this season.

The 21-year-old forward, who moved to Basel from Egyptian side Arab Contractors this summer, scored his side second goal and his first ever goal with the Swiss outfit in the 82nd minute throughout the 2-0 win over Lausanne Sports.

The young Pharaohs forward was awarded the man of the match award by FC Basel fans following an impressive performance against FC Thun 3-1 in the Swiss league last Sunday.

Salah produced a string of fine displays with Egypt at the London Games, scoring three goals in as many games in the group stage.
