Elazigspor striker Amr Zaki has won a call-up to Egypt's squad for two friendly games next month after apparently ending a dispute with coach Bob Bradley.

The 29-year-old fell out of favour with Bradley earlier this year after hitting out at the American boss for snubbing him for the opening two World Cup qualifiers.

Zaki, who also had problems with Cairo giants Zamalek at the time, was infuriated after Bradley implied that the combative striker was way past his prime.

However, he was given a new lease of life after joining Turkish side Elazigspor in the close season. He made his debut with the club in their 3-0 defeat by  Kasimpasa earlier this month.

Zaki was included in a list of foreign-based players who will be part of Egypt's squad for next month's friendly games against Iran and Tunisia in the United Arab Emirates.

The list also included goalkeeper Essam El-Hadary (Merreikh, Sudan), Mohamed Salah (Basel, Switzerland), Shikabala (Al-Wasl, UAE), Ahmed Ouka (Lierse, Belgium), Hosni Abd-Rabou (Al-Nasr, Saudi Arabia), Ahmed Hegazy (Fiorentina, Italy), Ahmed Elmohamady (Hull City) and Adam El-Abd (Brighton, England).

There was no room for Mohamed Zidan, who has been overlooked by Bradley since skipping an African Nations Cup qualifier in June to negotiate a move to an unnamed Chinese club.

The former Mainz man eventually joined UAE side Baniyas, for whom he scored on his competitive debut in a cup victory over Al-Dhafra on Wednesday.
