Tunisia's Esperance team will host Egypt's Ahly in the second leg of the African Champions League final a day earlier than scheduled, the Cairo giants announced on their official website late Friday.

The Red Devils are currently preparing to host the Tunisian giants in the first-leg at Alexandria's Borg El-Arab Stadium on 4 November. The return game was supposed to be played at the national stadium in Rades on 18 November according to a previous announcement by the Confederation of African Football (CAF).

"CAF informed us in a new letter that the match will be played on 17 November," Ahly's football director Sayed Abdel-Hafiz told the club's official website.

Ahly are hoping for their first continental triumph since 2008, while Esperance are seeking to win a second consecutive Champions League title.

Ahly have reached the final after a 4-3 aggregate victory over Nigerian guests Sunshine Stars.

Title holders Esperance secured their place in the final after eliminating the powerful Mazembe of Dr. Congo.
