Egyptian national team coach Bob Bradley will not use Ahly players in the Pharaohs upcoming Georgia friendly following a request from Ahly technical staff, goalkeeping coach Zaki Abdel-Fattah told Ahram Sport Wednesday.

Earlier this week, Red Devils staff members asked Bradley to exclude the Cairo-based club's international players from the 14 November game, to avoid injuries before the anticipated second leg of the Champions League final against Tunisia's Esperance three days later.

"Bradley has a good relationship with all the clubs and he accepted Ahly's coach request immediately," Abdel-Fattah affirmed.

Ahly is currently preparing to host the Tunisian giants in the first leg of the Champions League final at Alexandria's Borg Al-Arab Stadium next Sunday, former USA coach Bradley will be there.

"All the technical staff members headed by Bradley will attend Sunday's match to support Ahly. Winning the game is sure to be a benefit for the national team," Abdel-Fattah added.

Egypt, the winner of three successive African Cup of Nations trophies, recently held a training camp in the UAE, during which they beat DR Congo 3-0 and lost against Tunisia 1-0 in friendlies.

Egypt will not play any competitive games until March of next year, when they will host Zimbabwe in a 2014 World Cup qualifier.
