Egyptian striker Ahmed Ali helped secure a place for his new team Al Hilal in the semifinals of Saudi Crown Prince Cup after scoring the opening goal in the game against the Saudi team Al Ahli on Wednesday.
The Pharaohs striker netted his first goal with Al Hilal, since he joined them last month, in the 18th minute when he received a left cross ball and charged it into the goal.
Saudi giants Al Hilal booked their place in the semifinals of the Crown Prince Cup by defeating Al Ahli 4-3 in a penalty shootout as the fulltime game ended with a 2-2 draw.
The Ismaily former striker has joined Saudi giants Al Hilal on loan till the end of the ongoing season during the January transfer window.
Al Hilal are set to face the winner from the Al Nasr and Al Riyadh game in the semifinals of the Crown Prince Cup on March 10.
