Egyptian club Haras El-Hodoud has reportedly accepted an offer from Zamalek to sign forward Ahmed Eid Abdel-Malek on a two-and-a-half year deal for 700,000 EGP ($106,669).

Additionally, the 32-year-old player, whose contract with the military club expires in June 2013, signed a two and half year contract. He will receive one million pounds in the first season, 2.5 million in the second and three million in the third season with the White Knights.

Abdel-Malek was close to joining Zamalek last season but the transfer was postponed due to suspension of the football league following the Port Said Stadium disaster in February 2012 that killed at least 72 people and injured hundreds of others.

The Zamalek club, which is currently suffering from a financial crisis, could face a series of dropouts with midfielder Ibrahim Salah, striker Ahmed Gaafar and left-back Sabri Rahil, whose contracts end next summer, reportedly refusing to extend their deals.

Benin Striker Razak Omotoyossi, Burkina Faso’s Abdoulaye Cisse and Cameroon’s Alexis Mendomo are also reportedly looking for a way out due to the club's fiscal shortage.
