The game was scheduled to be played at the Shizuoka stadium in central Japan on March 25.

The association has also been trying to put on a match against New Zealand on March 29 at the national stadium in Tokyo, but an official said that too would be difficult.

Two home games of Kashima Antlers and Nagoya Grampus in the AFC Champions League have been postponed, while J-League matches last weekend were also put off.
