The Egyptian national team, under the leadership of manager Bob Bradley, will host their Ugandan counterparts Wednesday amid preparations for the 2014 World Cup qualifiers.
The friendly is to kick-off at 16:30 Cairo time (GMT+2) in Gouna Stadium in Hurghada, 430 kilometres from the capital, Cairo, due to security concerns during current political conflicts in the country.
The match is important for Egypt as it will influence their rankings, 62nd as of August, in the FIFA global which would result a different classification in the World Cup.
Bradley will have to play the game without 13 of the Pharaohs' Ahly and Zamalek players, as they will be playing Saturday in their third round of the CAF Champions League group stage.
Ahly players missing are keeper Sherif Ekrami; defender Wael Gomaa; Rami Rabia; Ahmed Shedid and midfielders Walid Soliman and Mohamed Abou-Treika.
From Zamalek, Egypt will miss keeper Abdel-Wahed El-Sayed, defenders Omar Gaber and Mohamed Abdel-Shafy, striker Ahmed Eid Abdel-Malek.
Hull City winger Ahmed Elmohammady and Madeira Ali Ghazal will also miss the game due to injury.

Egypt secured a place in the World Cup qualifiers playoff after ensuring they would finish on top of Group G with one game to spare.
The winners of three successive African Cup of Nations (2006, 2008 and 2010), Egypt will host Guinea in the final round of the qualifiers in September.
The African draw for the final round, featuring the 10 group winners, will be made on 16 September in Cairo.
