Egypt coach Bob Bradley has postponed the naming of his squad for the World Cup qualifier against Guinea on 10 September until after this weekend's Champions League games.

The American tactician has made public a list of nine foreign-based players on Sunday and was expected to unveil a full list on Tuesday.

Ahly and Zamalek will play crucial ties in the African Champions' League group stage against AC Leopards from Congo and Orlando Pirates from South Africa on 31 August and 1 September respectively.

"We decided to postpone the final squad until Sunday [1 September] to keep all the players focused on their games and also motivated," goalkeepers' coach Zaki Abdel-Fattah told Ahram Sport on Tuesday.

"We also want to see the players in action before making our final selection and we also hope there won't be any injuries," he added.

The team is set to start its training camp on Sunday ahead of the final group stage game on Wednesday.

The Pharaohs have already secured the top of the group and will be waiting for the draw of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) on 16 September for their final play-off match in the World Cup qualifiers.
