85 Ahly's El-Sayed Hamdi is left on his own upfront, as Ahly adopt a firm defensive strategy in the dying minutes.

83 Ahly are trying to keep the ball under their control as long as they can. Coton Sport look dangerous with some fast-paced attacks.

80 Ten minutes remaining before the final whistle. Both sides ease off.

78 Ahly's Hossam Ashour is booked for pushing an opponent.

76 Emmanuel Mbongo, who scored Coton Sport's opener, is replaced with Jacques Haman.

75 A counter attack ends with Ahly's Soliman sending in a cross but none of his teammates connect with it.

73 Ahly are sitting back. Will they be able to keep the score at 1-1?

71 Coton Sport try some long balls which are intercepted by Ekramy.

69 Ahly make their second substitution. El-Sayed Hamdi replaces ineffective striker Ahmed Abdel-Zaher.

68 Coton Sport are pushing forward, but are finding it difficult to break down a crowd of defenders.

65 Ahly coach Mohamed Youssef is sent off by the referee. The reason is not immediately clear.

65 A wayward shot by Ahly's Walid Soliman goes wide.

62 Ahly make their first substitution. Abou-Treika, who scored Ahly's equaliser, is replaced by midfielder Mahmoud Hassan 'Trezeguet'. Coton Sport also make a couple of substitutions, including the introduction of Daouda Kamilou.

56 Ahly coach Mohamed Youssef is apparently contemplating introducing a holding midfielder to close down spaces.

53 Coton Sport waste another chance! Shehab Ahmed is robbed in midfield and a Coton forward pounces on the loose ball to jink towards the area. However, his subsequent, low shot is easily collected by Ekramy.

51 With sluggish duo Abdallah El-Said and Ahmed Abdel-Zaher failing to trouble Coton's defence, coach Mohamed Youssef may look for alternatives on the bench.

49 Aminou Bouba is unlucky not to restore Coton Sport's advantage! He beats his marker to a cross and heads just wide from few metres out.

48 Roared on by a passionate crowd, Coton Sport make an enthusiastic start to the second half. Two crosses from the left and right are cleared by the Ahly backline.

The second half is underway

Coton Sport dominate possession, sending in repeated crosses from the right flank.

27 An Ahly defensive clearance falls to a Coton Sport forward who towers to head the ball over the bar.

19 Ahly are trying to pinpoint gaps in the hosts' defence. No clear-cut chances so far.

16 Both sides are struggling to move the ball around on a muddy pitch, which is still affected by yesterday's torrential rain.

13 Just like Saturday's match, Ahly are mainly relying on the pace of Sayed Moawad and Walid Soliman on the left flank.

10 Ahly are gradually finding their rhythm after a slow start in the first 10 minutes.

7 Unlike Saturday's abandoned match, it's Coton Sport who have the upper hand in the early stages.

4 The weather conditions look much better today.

3 At the other end, a smooth move sees Walid Soliman makes a darting run down the left flank but his low cross is cleared by the defence.

Welcome to Ahram Online’s live coverage of a replayed African Champions League clash between title holders Ahly of Egypt and Cameroon’s Coton Sport at the Omnisports Roumde-Adja Stadium in Garoua.

The match took place on Saturday but only lasted until the hour mark when torrential rain forced Zambian referee Jan Sikazwe to call it off and delay it for 24 hours, in accordance with the Confederation of African Football (CAF) regulations.

The match was cancelled with the score 0-0 and Ahly dominating, with the visitors having a couple of goal-scoring chances denied by Coton’s keeper.

Ahly's players and technical staff members appeared frustrated with the decision of postponing the match, given that they had the upper hand before the game was halted.

The Red Devils are favourites to advance to the final, where they will meet either Esperance of Tunisia or South Africa's Orlando Pirates, who face off in the other semi-final clash.
