Egypt striker Amr Zaki finalised his move to Moroccan giants Raja Casablanca on Thursday, the club website announced.

The 30-year-old striker flew to Morocco on Wednesday to undergo medical tests and sign the contracts. Neither the length nor the amount of the contract has been disclosed yet.

"Amr Zaki will be presented in a presser on Thursday in the conference hall of the Mohamed V stadium at 17:30. He will also be unveiled to the fans just before tonight's game on the pitch at 18:30," a statement read on the club's website.

Raja will play KACM Marrakech in the league tonight.

Zaki has been a free agent since leaving Kuwaiti side Al-Salmiya last month. The athletic striker was one of the Pharaohs' key figures during their golden era, winning two consecutive African Cup of Nations titles in 2006 and 2008.

However, the former Wigan striker saw his career on a downhill after 2008 due to injuries and disciplinary problems.

He was revitalised recently by former Egypt coach Bob Bradley who recalled him to the squad that played Ghana in the World Cup playoffs.

His solid performance drew him under the spotlights to finally get an offer from the Club World Cup runners-up.
