Ahly starlets striker Amr Gamal and midfielder Mahmoud Hassan 'Trezeguet' appear set to make their national team debut against Bosnia in a warm-up game in March.

Both Gamal and Trezeguet were recently in the spotlight after outstanding performances with Ahly since the start of the domestic league, and following the retirement of stars Mohamed Barakat and Mohamed Abou-Trieka and also absence due to injury of several other key players.

A source inside the Pharaohs' technical staff told Ahram Online late Friday that the duo are among 13 Ahly players who will be included in the Egyptian squad for the match.

The winners of a record seven African Cup of Nations (CAN) trophies and who have not played since the World Cup playoffs in November, the Pharaohs will begin their first training camp of the year on 28 February and are set to face Bosnia in a friendly game in Austria 5 March.

Coach Shawky Gharib and his coaching team have been watching Egyptian Premier League matches closely from the stands in the hope of finding some new talent.

Under the guidance of new coach Gharib, Egypt is hoping for a new era as they prepare for the African Cup of Nations in Morocco in July 2015.
