Egypt soars to quarter-final in World squash championship

Egypt routed Mexico 3-0 and gained a well-deserved place in the quarter-final of the women's squash championship in New Zealand.

Egypt routed Mexico 3-0 and gained  a well-deserved place in the quarter-final of the women's squash championship in New Zealand. The defending champions warmed up against Mexico 3-0 and achieved their third successive easy victory on Wednesday.

Egypt who are seeded third  scored  full marks against all their opponents, topping pool C and are to meet Malaysia in the quarter-final.

Egyptian Raneem El Weleily had the fastest victory of the tournament to date, beating Graciela Lopez Perez in just 15 minutes.
