El-Entag El-Harby striker Bassem Morsi signed his contracts with Zamalek on Tuesday.
The White Castle snatched the player after he negotiated earlier with their arch-rivals Ahly.
The talented player finalised his paper work on Tuesday at the club's headquarters in the presence of the club's chairman, Mortada Mansour, and board member Ahmed Soliman.
"Zamalek's offer was more serious than Ahly's and I am hoping I can accomplish a championship under the leadership of coach Ahmed Hossam 'Mido', who I admire," Morsi told the Egyptian press.
Morsi has been recently called by Egypt coach Shawky Gharib and he made a dream debut scoring the equaliser against Jamaica 2-2 on 4 June.
Morsi is now Zamalek's seventh forward, alongside Ahmed Gaafar, Obama, Ahmed Ali, Ahmed Ali, Arafa El-Sayed, Khaled Qamar and Dominique Da Silva.
