Ahly's Spanish coach Garrido after Egypt Super Cup win: 'Shokran Ahlawy'

Ahly's Spanish manager Juan Carlos Garrido happily thanked Ahly fans after he clinched his first title with Ahly on Sunday, winning the Egypt Super Cup 5-4 against Zamalek on penalties.

"Thanks everyone for your great support! Players deserve it! I am very happy. Shukran Ahlawy [thank you, Ahly fans]!" the 45-year-old tactician stated on his twitter account after the game.

Garrido also thanked Ahly former coach Fathi Mabrouk who led the team to the Egyptian Premier League trophy.

"This title is also for the players and coach of last season. Fathi Mabrouk. Congratulations!  Today you were here. Ahlawy [Ahly fans] enjoy it!" he added.
