Ahly manager Juan Garrido has named a full-strength squad ahead of his team's first Egyptian League game against Ragaa Thursday.

Garrido, however, left out midfield trio Ahmed Khairy, Karim 'Bambo' and Ramadan Sobhi from his squad while Ethiopia striker Saladdin Said and defender Sherif Abdel-Fadil are also absent due to injury.

Khairy, who deputised for suspended regular midfielder Hossam Ashour in both legs of the Confederation Cup semis, was ruled out after the latter was recalled to fill the holding role.

Youngsters Bambo and Sobhi were omitted as well to make way for attacking midfielders Walid Soliman, Mousa Yedan, Mohamed Farouk, Mahmoud Hassan 'Trezeguet' and newly-signed Islam Roshdy in Ahly's 20-man squad.

Ethiopia striker Said is facing a period between four to six weeks on the sidelines with a calf problem.

Ahly open their domestic league campaign with the Week 4 match against lowly Ragaa on the back of having taking part in Africa's secondary competition during the past few weeks.
