Egypt's Zamalek crushed Rayon Sports 3-0 in Rwanda to easily reach the African Confederation Cup round of 16 with a 6-1 aggregate win.

In-form winger Ahmed Eid opened the scoring after 32 minutes with a powerful shot and defender Ali Gabr headed home from a corner eight minutes after restart to effectively end the match as a contest.

It was Gabr's first goal since joining from Ittihad of Alexandria last summer.

Three minutes later, defensive midfielder Ibrahim Salah put the icing on the cake with a rare goal to wrap up an easy win.

Zamalek will likely face FUS Rabat in the next round after the Moroccan side crushed Togo Port 3-0 in the first leg of the Confederation Cup round of 32.
