Ahly has ceased negotiations with Brazilian striker Bruno Morae after the latter refused to sign a conditional contract allotting 25 per cent of his fees to be paid upon his participation with the team.

The Egyptian league holders pay 25 per cent of their players benefits pre-contract, divide a further 50 per cent of the fees over the players’ contract period and pay out the remaining 25 per cent upon the player’s participation.

The Brazilian star refused this payment system and asked the management to exclude him from the participation condition, but Ahly football director Sayed Adbel-Hafiz refused the player’s request and decided to halt negotiations with the striker.

Earlier this week, Ahly announced the signing of the 26-year old Brazilian striker for two years on a free transfer without disclosing the financial details, but today the management revealed their refusal to the player’s request and decided to stop the negotiation.

Alternatively, the club’s director has officially announced the offloading of Liberian striker Francis after today’s training despite his recover from injury.
