Ahly were fined $10,000 by the Confederation of African football (CAF) due to their fans' behavior during two games in the Confederation Cup group stage.
The Cairo giants were hit with $5,000 fine after their fans used flares during Ahly's 1-0 win over Esperance in Tunisia, the African governing body said in a statement on Tuesday.
The CAF disciplinary committee, which convened on 20 September, also handed Ahly another $5,000 fine after five of the team supporters "infiltrated the stadium during the game against Stade Malien".
Those who were present also used flares "although the match was behind closed doors," CAF added.
Ahly will host South African side Orlando Pirates in the second-leg of the competition's semis on Sunday.
The Red Devils will be looking to overturn their 1-0 first-leg defeat to advance to the final as they bid for a second straight Confederation Cup title.
