Ahly's interim coach Abdel-Aziz 'Zizo' Abdel-Shafi believes that next season will be different for Ahly saying that his side's win in the Egyptian Super Cup is just the start.
Ahly won the Egyptian Super Cup after defeating Zamalek 3-2 in the UAE on Thursday, making end to a winless season for the Cairo giants.
"Winning the Super Cup is just a start for the new season," Zizo told a TV programme after the game.
"Ahly's players with their great experience are capable to play in the difficult circumstances."
Zizo believed that Zamalek's wasted penalty was a crucial moment in the game and helped his side to remain in the game.
Ahly's keeper Sherif Ekrami blocked a penalty from Mahmoud 'Kahraba' Abdel-Moneim in the 33 minutes while the White Knights were leading 1-0.
'I was very wary when the referee whistled a penalty for Zamalek but after they wasted it, I felt that this moment will be a new start for the game," he added.
The veteran coach who replaced the sacked Fathi Mabrouk will leave his post to Portuguese coach Jose Peseiro.
