Ahly's midfielder Hossam Ghaly has received a two-match suspension following his behaviour in Sunday's Egyptian Premier League game against El-Entag El-Harby, the Egyptian Football Association (EFA) said on Monday.
Ahly snatched a last-gasp win over El-Entag El-Harbi thanks to a trademark winner at stoppage time from veteran striker Emad Metaab.
Clashes erupted between the players after the game, and video was recorded showing the Ahly skipper attacking one of El-Entag players.
The suspension means that the 35-year-old will miss Ahly's league matches against Ittihad El-Shorta and Arab Contractors.
The EFA also decided to suspend El-Entag assistant coach Wael Reyad four games for verbally abusing the referee, while Abdel-Sattar Sabry, another El-Entag assistant coach, has been handed a two-match ban due to his behaviour towards the referee.
El-Entag technical staff accused the referee of sympathising with Ahly after adding six minutes as additional time, leading to Ahly's win.
