Despite his team's 7-3 win over Ittihad El-Shorta in the Egyptian league on Thursday, Ahly coach Jose Peseiro has expressed his worries about the defence's mistakes during the game.
Ahly's summer signing Saleh Gomaa scored one goal and set up another four in a 10-goal fest during the postponed game of the Egyptian Premier League on Thursday.
The game witnessed defensive errors that caused the Reds to receive three goals, which the Portuguese tactician mentioned during the post-game press conference despite the huge score.
"I feel happy and disappointed at the same time," Peseiro said.
"I am happy for the win as well as making use of most of our score chances during the game.
"It's possible to have 20 score chances but not to find the net any more, but today we made it and made use of our score chances.
"I feel angry for receiving three goals because of some defence mistakes," Peseiro added.
"So we have to repair this mistakes in the coming games not to repeat it again."
"In a general view all the players' moves on the pitch were brilliant and they achieved what we said before the game," the Ahly coach said.
Last season's runners-up Ahly climbed three places into third on 22 points, just one behind leaders Maqassa who played two games more.
Ahly are scheduled to face Arab Contractors in the 13th matchday of the Egyptian Premier League on Sunday.
