Zamalek have drawn up a four-man shortlist that includes English coach Harry Redknapp and Dutchman Martin Jol as they seek to replace sacked boss Mido, a club board member said on Sunday.
"Martin Jol, Czech coach Karel Jarolim, Romanian coach Laszlo Boloni and former Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp are favorites for Zamalek job," Ahmed Mansour, son of chairman Mortada Mansour, said following the 1-1 Egyptian league draw with Wadi Degla.
Zamalek are looking for their fifth coach this season after the dismissal of Mido, who was shown the door following last week's 2-0 Cairo derby loss to arch rivals Ahly.
Assistant coach Mohamed Salah was named as team's interim coach until the appointment of a new boss.
The defending champions are second in the league table with 32 points, seven behind leaders Ahly.
