Ahly's veteran midfielder Hossam Ashour says he is totally fit for Thursday's Egyptian Premier League match against Ghazl El-Mahalla after recovering from muscular injury.
"I am ready for El-Mahalla match," Ashour was quoted as saying by the club's official website on Tuesday.
"The players are fully concentrated on the coming match as it is one of the most important in the competition regardless of the two teams' positions in the league table.
"The opponents will be eyeing a positive result against the league leaders and that puts a lot of pressure on us. Ahly players have the needed experience for such a match and they are all determined to win the league title," he added.
Ahly's trio Ahmed Fathi, Mohamed Hani and Malick Evouna papered in Tuesday's training after recently suffering from minor injuries.
Right-back Basem Ali is due to undergo scans on Wednesday after suffering from neck pains and missing the session.
The record 37-time Egyptian champions, Ahly, currently lead the Egyptian league table with 39 points after playing 17 matches, seven ahead of rivals and champions Zamalek.
El-Mahalla, who played one more match, lies at the 17th place with only 6 points.
