After beating Ittihad El-Shorta 3-2 in the Egyptian Premier League Saturday, Zamalek coach Mohamed Helmy underlined that the coming game against Enyimba in the CAF Champions League group stage would be difficult, asking his players to concentrate on the game.
Zamalek looked to be cruising to a comprehensive win when they took a 3-0 lead in Saturday's game, but El-Shorta threatened to stage a remarkable comeback with two late goals.
"Players have to learn from conceding two goals during the El-Shorta game as they were ours to lose," Zamalek coach Helmy was quoted as saying on the club's official website.
"El-Shorta game is a good lesson for the players ahead of the CAF Champions League game against Enyimba," he added.
"Enyimba is expected to be very difficult so we have to concentrate on the game," the Zamalek coach said.
The Cairo giants are scheduled to launch their CAF Champions League group stage campaign when they face Enyimba on 19 June.
Zamalek were drawn in Group B of the CAF Champions League group stage with Kawkab (Morocco), Etoile du Sahel (Tunisia), FUS Rabat, and Ahly Tripoli (Libya).
