After beating Zambia's ZESCO 2-0 in the second game of the CAF Champions League Group A, captain Ibrahim El-Nakash of Morocco's Wydad Casablanca says his team's coming game against Ahly will be difficult, especially after the latter lost their first two games in the group stage.

Ahly will host Wydad Casablanca 16 July on the third match day of the Group A games.

"Ahly are eager to be back to the competition to reach the tournament's semifinals, so the game will not be easy," the Wydad captain told a television programme on Thursday.

Ahly started their CAF Champions League group stage campaign by losing their first two games, 3-2 to Zambia's ZESCO and 2-1 loss to ASEC Mimosas of Ivory Coast, while Morocco's Wydad Casablanca won their first two games in the group.

"Despite the dip in form for the Ahly players, we hope to win the away game in Egypt, and if we cannot, we still have to achieve a positive result," the Wydad Casablanca leader said.

"Wydad is a big team and is leading Group A, so we will work to reach the semifinals through Ahly to please our Moroccan fans."

Wydad Casablanca are leading Group A of the CAF Champions League with six points, while Ahly are in the tail of the group with no points after losing their first two games.
