Ahly will be eager to continue their winning streak to make it four wins out of four when they visit second-from-bottom Dakhleya in the Egyptian league on Saturday.
Following victories over Ismaily, Arab Contractors and Wadi Degla, defending champions Ahly are now ahead of what seems to be an easy mission against an opponent who picked up only a single point in three games.
And with Zamalek, who play in the CAF Champions League final on the same day, having three games in hand, Ahly will be looking to pile up further pressure on their arch-rivals who finished runners-up to them last season.
A host of Ahly new-signings are set to take part in the match, with Akram Tawfik, Mido Gaber and Nigeria's Junior Ajayi all included in the squad.
Tawfik, in particular, could be set for his Ahly debut to deputize for the suspended holder Hossam Ashour – with fellow midfielders Hossam Ghaly and Amr El-Sulaya also available.
Talented midfielder Saleh Gomaa also returns to the squad following some disciplinary issues.
Despite winning all their games, Ahly are third of the Premier League table, with Alexandria's Ittihad and Maqassa leading the table with a better one-goal advantage.
