Although Ismaily were once again disappointing, forgotten attacking midfielder Mohab Saied was still able to catch the eye, with a lively display in Monday’s 1-1 draw with Ittihad.

Saied kept Ittihad defenders on their toes with some precise passes, creating several opportunities for his teammates.

He also won the penalty which midfielder Hosni Abd-Rabou converted to level the score in the second half after Ittihad had taken the lead through a goal from Ghanaian midfielder Samuel Kyere.

Saied, who is known for his disciplinary problems, was on loan at Ittihad last season after failing to make an impact at Ismaily.

However, Ismaily’s new coach Mahmoud Gaber, who replaced Egypt icon Hossam Hassan earlier this month, is seemingly aiming to give Saied another chance to prove his worth.
