With seven points out of three games, Ittihad El-Shorta go clear on top of the table after their 2-2 away draw against Arab Contractors on Thursday night.
It took only 8 minutes to Nigerian striker Musa Kabiru to put the hosts in the lead on a low shot from inside the box.
Khaled Kamar netted twice in quick fire succession 53 and 61 to reverse the situation for dominant El-Shorta.
But Nigerian defender Tijani Shamusideen had the last word scoring the equalizer in the 70th minute as he rose above the defence to meet Mohamed Salah’s corner kick.
Arab Contractors tried to grab the winner especially after the sent off of Mohamed El-Fayoumi in the last 15 minutes but they couldn’t break through El-Shorta’s disciplined defence to share the points with their visitors.
