Oussou Konan netted a hat-trick to lead Maqassa to an impressive 5-2 victory over Ittihad of Alexandria on Thursday.

The Ivorian frontman superbly headed home across from Moroccan midfielder Omar Najdi to double Maqassa’s advantage after 10 minutes.

He added the third in the 36th minute with a close-range shot after tricking a defender before completing his hat-trick 14 minutes after the restart, following a blunder from Ittihad keeper.

He lies second in the top goal-scorers chart with six goals, one behind Ismaily midfielder Hosni Abd-Rabou.
