Etoile du Sahel manager Hubert Velud said his side are ready to beat Ahly in Alexandria ahead of both side's clash in the Champions League semi-final return leg at Borg El-Arab Stadium on Sunday.
After prevailing 2-1 in Sousse in the first leg, Velud asserted he arrived to Egypt to ensure his qualification for the competition's final.
"We are ready to beat Ahly in Alexandria exactly like what we did in Tunisia," the French boss said in the pre-match press-conference.
"For sure it will be a difficult game since we're facing a big club like Ahly, but we are ready.
"We came here to qualify for the final."
Ahly are looking to qualify for the Champions League final for the first time since last winning the title in 2013.
Should eight-time African champions Ahly overcome Etoile, they would meet the winner from the other semi-final between Wydad Casablanca and USM Alger, who played out a goalless first-leg draw in Algeria.
