Egypt's Competitions Committee are deciding between three countries -- Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Jordan -- before selecting one to host the Egypt Super Cup game between Premier League champions Ahly and Egypt Cup runners-up Masry.

"The Egypt Super Cup game will be played on 12 January but we have not determined the country that will host the game," Egypt's Competitions Committee chief told a radio programme early on Monday.

"We are comparing between Saudi Arabia, UAE, and Jordan to determine the game's venue," he said.

Ahly won the double Egyptian Premier League and Egypt's Cup titles. Masry finished second in the cup competition.

Ahly are the Super Cup record holders with nine titles.
