Zamalek claimed an easy 3-0 win over second-division side Harras El-Hodoud in the Egypt Cup round of 16 at El-Salam stadium on Thursday.

Congolese striker Kabongo Kasongo opened the scoring for the White Knights in the 17th minute while Syrian fullback Moayad Ajad converted a penalty five minutes before the break to double the seal.

Skipper Mohamed Ibrahim, who made his first start in ten months completed the rout in the 75th minute, firing Zamalek to the competition's quarter-finals.

Zamalek will face the winner of Friday's clash between El-Intag El-Harby and Gouna in the quarters.
