CAF Champions League debutants Maqassa will kick off their African campaign by facing another debutants in Senegalese champions Génération Foot in the round of 64 first-leg in Dakar on Saturday.

Having finished second of the league table last season, Maqassa will now be opening their maiden African campaign against Generation; who have only been founded 18 years ago.

The Egyptians, however, do not look the same imposing side as they used under ex-manager Ehab Galal, as they currently lie 13th of the domestic league table.

They were thrashed 4-1 on Monday at the hands of Masry, with the Fayoum-based side now looking to bounce back on African front.

The return leg is set to take place at Cairo Stadium on February 21.
