Zamalek winger Hazem Emam met the technical staff Tuesday morning and apologised for his lack of commitment lately.
The former Egyptian national team coach, Hassan Shehata accepted the return of the player to the White Castle after chairman Mamduh Abbas mediated ending the problem amicably.
“I will meet with the board to end Emam’s contract with Faisaly after the player apologised for his behaviour,” Shehata told Ahram Online.
The 23-year defender signed a contract with Saudi side Faislay two-and-a-half-season contract after he said that he illegally terminated his contract with Zamalek claiming that he didn’t receive his payment.
The Whites announced later that they have reached an agreement with Saudi Faisaly to allow Emam to join the Saudi side for six months on loan against $75,000.
Things changed after the return of the elected chairman, Abbas, after rival Mortada Mansour withdrew his appeal against the club’s presidential election results, as he insisted that he will not release the player he described as ‘important in Zamlek’.
