French clubs Monaco FC, Caen and Dijon are reportedly interested in signing Ahly's attacking midfielder Nasser Maher, according to a report published by French magazine France Football on Monday.
"The 21-year-old Maher is attracting the attention of the three French clubs to sign him in the French league's current transfer window, which runs until the end of August," the report said.
After ending his loan spell at fellow Egyptian League club Smouha, Maher rejoined Ahly this season, featuring in the first two league games against Ismaily and Masry.
Spanish side Villarreal was reportedly interested in signing Nasser last year, but both sides did not reach an agreement over the deal.
Holders Ahly are currently joint leaders of the Egyptian Premier League with Cairo rivals Zamalek and Dakhleya with four points from two games.
