Pyramids FC have tasted their first Egyptian Premier League defeat to Ismaily 2-0 on Friday.
Ismaily's Mahmoud Metwally scored the first goal only after 6 minutes while Lassad Jaziri made it 2 from a spot kick after 67 minutes.
Pyramids' first loss came after their promising start of the season, winning 4 games and drawing other 4 before collapsing against the Dervishes. It is also the first time Ricardo Lavolpe's men fail to get on the score sheet having scored 13 goals in their previous eight games.
Pyramids, who sit now 4th in the league table, have 2 postponed games; one against Ahly due to the latter's participation in the CAF Champions League and another against Zamalek.
On the other side, Ismaily gave a winning start to their new Brazilian coach Jorvan Vieira after struggling earlier in the campaign.
The victory propelled Ismaily seven places up to the 9th place with 12 points.
