Maqassa defender Hani Said survived a car accident on Saturday following his team's 2-0 defeat to El-Entag El-Harby on day-14 of the Egyptian Premier League season.

“Said desperately tried to avoid a speed bump but his car flipped over,” Maqassa assistant coach Tarek Mostafa told Ahram Online.

The 31-year-old former Zamalek defender suffered a series of injuries to many parts of his body and is currently undergoing scans and treatment at the 6 October Hospital.
