Tunisian club Sfaxien have signed Ahly striker Amr Gamal for a one-season contract, they said on Friday, with the option of making the deal permanent.
Sfaxien have won eight league titles and three CAF Confederation Cups, and finished third in the Tunisian league last season.
The 27-year-old Ahly and Egypt international first joined Ahly from the youth squad in 2013.
He has played 102 matches with them, scoring 30 goals.
In August 2017 he was loaned to the South African side Bidvest Wits for half a season; he was then loaned again to Finland's Helsinki for another half a season.
Gamal returned to his home club on July 2018 but hasn’t played in any matches.
Sfaxien are led by former Zamalek coach Nebojsa Jovovic.
